April 15th is the Government’s Day. It’s their day to have us riddled with anxiety. It’s their day to have us focus on the excesses and abuses of their authority. It’s their day to have us worried about how much the governed owes those who govern them. It is, after all, their designated payday.

April 14th will be Our Day; where 20,000 concerned Oklahomans will gather at the North Steps of the Oklahoma Capitol Building to remind them, this administration and its ever-encroaching policies, that we are still a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, and that we and our Constitutional Republic shall not perish from the earth under the hands of any administration. Therefore, We the people declare this day The People’s Day!

…and on this day, we are having The People’s Rally! A rally to stir us–The People–once again to action. A rally to focus our attentions on this most critical year–2010!

If this administration has vowed itself to fundamentally change our country, then we shall vow ourselves to change our country back to our true fundamentals! Rallies are great and motivational…but without effective action as a direct result of such motivations, it is meaningless. Therefore, our effort on April 14th will be to launch initiatives and plans of action, the focus of which will be to get Americans participating in this effort, to get Americans truly active in the process immediately–not in a week, not in a month–but the very next day! So that this year’s April 15th will NOT be the Government’s Day, but rather, The People’s Day of Action!

Join us in this effort! Be a part of true change! Be a part of History!

Don’t be fooled! The “Tax Day Teaparty” being put on at the Tulsa Fairgrounds, on April 15th, is NOT endorsed by ANY of the Tea Party groups in Oklahoma! This is the same group that asked for my help on Tax Day, last year, and then stabbed me in the back. This is one of those “fake Tea party” groups that is only in it for money, and has spent most of their time attacking those who have spent their blood, sweat, tears, and own money, to promote this movement. Please, to all of my Tea party friends, do NOT have any dealings with these people. The REAL Tea Party in the Tulsa area is having a Tax Day Tea Party. Just what we DON’T need! Looks like State Speaker of the House Chris Benge is showing his “Tax & Spend” stripes again! Why am I not surprised. With a Conservative Index Rating from OCPAC, of less than 60%, Benge has proven to be the very definition of a RINO.

Sue Tibbs, is also starting to demonstrate an alarming tendency to go against Liberty legislation, as evidenced by her initially blocking, and then watering down the Open Carry bill.

We need to let these 2, along with everyone on the Senate Transportation Commmittee, that We The People, are opposed to this legislation!

The news is rife with reports of racial slurs, threatening phone calls and vandalism on Congress members offices and homes.  If you have been listening or watching Glenn Beck, you know he has been speaking on the fact that as this movement grows larger and stronger and congress continues to ignore us that we will be targeted and set up to look like kooks and quacks.  I saw some of this while in Washington, DC, and with the reports of intimidation and death threats, I feel it is important to explain how to identify a troubled situation and how to take control and divert it or at least record and report on the truth, not the lies they will tell or the media’s distorted reporting of the incident(s).

We will go over “Operational Security for Rallies, Events and Meetings,” as rallies and protests will begin again and being educated and prepared for instigators and infiltrators is very important.  We will go over highlights of Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals,” to demonstrate their plan.  Knowledge IS power!  We don’t want to get sucked into their game plan.

OK for TEA is sponsoring the Tea Party Express, Friday, April 2, at the Golden Driller (Quik Trip Center).  I would like for Tulsa 912 to assist them by offering to act as security for the event.  In order to participate in this capacity, you need to attend this meeting.  It is important that we have an operational guideline to follow.  volunteer here

After being in Washington, DC for the Health Care Protest, I can confirm that the TEA Party/912 movement is being targeted by national organizations such as SEIU, ACORN, the media and such.  Their tactics are to demonize and discredit us.  It is important that we are able to recognize this, and take measures to isolate these incidents.  We have enemies.  We need a game plan.  Please attend.

Fried Chicken Dinner is Racist!?!?

The Oklahoma Legislative Black Caucus, has issued a statement criticizing State Senator, and Republican Gubernatorial Candidate, Randy Brogdon, for a statement he made this week, in debate over the Oklahoma Freedom of Healthcare Choice Act.

Brogdon made the argument, on Tuesday, that the Federal Government

“has no more authority to tell Oklahomans where to buy health insurance than it does to tell them where to buy a fried chicken dinner.”

Democrat Senator Tom Adelson, questioned Brogdon’s use of fried chicken dinner, to which Brogdon replied that is what he had eaten for lunch. However, the Democrats in the State Senate, and particularly, the Legislative Black Caucus, took exception to Brogdon’s statement, claiming that he was making a racial reference to President Obama.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?! They are going to try to use a statement about Federal Government overreach, and turn it into a racial argument?! I am sick and tired of the “PC Police” trying to make everything about race.

The real question is, why are they trying to change the focus of the debate? Is it because, as usual, Senator Brogdon has the Constitutional “high ground” in this debate? Or, is it because the Democrats realize something, that the Republicans are only beginning to understand?

The real threat to the Democrat Party in the Governor’s race, is not Mary Fallin, whom they have been attacking on her “stimulus hypocrisy”, and dividing time between her job as Congresswoman and running for Governor. The real threat, is Randy Brogdon, who continues to gain support, aand climb in the polls, while Mary Fallin, and the 2 Democrat Candidates, Drew Edmondson, and Jeri Askins, continue to slide against him, despite much greater statewide name recognition.

The truth is, both the Democrats, and the “status quo” within the Republican Party Establishment, fear Brogdon’s popularity within the Tea Party Movement, and in Constitutional and Libertarian circles.

That is why the Democrats have started attacking him, and the Oklahoma State GOP is nowhere to be found in this bit of low-brow, racial politics!

Don’t Feed the Beast!

DON”T FEED THE BEAST!!! Libertarians, conservatives, anarchists unite against the government NOW! Get your forms Monday, change withholding! Notax! If they don’t have our money to play with, maybe then, they’ll listen!

We all have to go register as Repugs…err Republicans, and vote in the primaries, so we can get candidates with backbones elected, in order to repeal this atrocity! Democrats won’t do it! Most of the incumbents don’t have the GUTS! Whether you are an Independent, a Libertarian, Constitution Party, Conservative Party, or any other, you don’t have enough CONCENTRATED POWER to pull this off!

WE CAN TAKE OVER THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, AND BRING IT BACK TO IT’S ROOTS OF LIMITED GOVERNMENT!

Brogdon: “One honest voice can make a difference.”

State Senator, and GOP Gubernatorial Candidate, Randy Brogdon, spoke at the monthly meeting of the Tulsa Republican‘s Club, on Friday. Following his chief rival for the nomination, Congresswoman Mary Fallin, who spoke at last month’s meeting, his message was starkly different.

While Fallin talked about “Republican Unity”, and called the States Rights‘ movement “extreme”,  Brogdon continued to push his Limited Government, and Personal Freedom, platform.

Promising to shake up Oklahoma‘s state government, if elected, Brogdon said

“If you like what we have in Oklahoma, I’m not your guy,”

He went on to talk about the problems, our Nation as a whole.

“Today our freedom is being stripped away from us,” he said. “Consider the land grabs we have seen take place. The abuse of eminent domain, the lack of border control, the invasion of illegal aliens, the threat of the North American Union, the NAFTA Superhighway, the Real ID Act — all taking our freedoms away.”

And the problems facing the State of Oklahoma, like the $1.3 Billion budget shortfall for the 2010 Fiscal Year. Brogdon has been openly critical of the use of the “rainy day fund”, and federal stimulus monies, to close that gap, stating that the “rainy day fund” was never intended to be used on budgeted items, and the stimulus is Unconstitutional.

“We need to cut $1.3 Billion in spending, then we’ll talk”

His answer to these problems, is a return to limited government, personal responsibility, and individual freedom. The State of Oklahoma

“suffers from a lack of leadership, especially in the governor’s office”

Once considered a “long-shot”, Senator Brogdon is gaining fast in the GOP Primary race, and is already running a dead heat with his likely Democrat foes, according to a recent Rasmussen poll.

Should Mary Fallin Quit Governor’s Race?

In a poll conducted on this site over the last week, I asked the question,

What Should Mary Fallin Do?

• Continue serving in Congress, while campaigning for Governor
• Resign from Congress and Campaign full-time
• Drop out of Governor’s Race, and Focus on doing her job in Congress

Well, I have closed the poll, and the results have been tabulated.

61% feel that Mary Fallin Should Drop Out of the Governor’s Race, and Focus on Doing Her Job in Congress!

While only 30% felt she should continue to both run for Governor, and serve in Congress, and only 9% think she should resign from Congress, and focus on her run for Governor.

I happen to agree with the majority of the voters on this one. We DESPERATELY need her to be in Washington, voting against Obamacare, Cap and Trade, Amnesty, and any other of the Socialist bills that Pelosi, Reid, and Obama try to ram thru! Not trekking all over Oklahoma, trying to win the GOP nomination, only to lose the General election.

The Democrats have already started their attack campaign! They have sent out press releases calling her a “Stimulus Hypocrite”. They have sent out emails, and tweets, complaining that she’s not in DC for critical votes, and then have attacked her for getting involved in trying to persuade people in other states to campaign against Obamacare, instead of focusing on Oklahoma’s issue.

I have it on good authority, that if Mary Fallin wins the GOP nomination, this is going to be the tactic they use against her. If she stays in Congress, they will say she doesn’t “care enough about Oklahoma.” If she resigns, they will attack her for not being “dedicated enough to finish the job she was elected to do.” And, they will pound her on voting “NO” on the Stimulus, but then earmarking monies from the Stimulus, and bragging about how good it has been for Oklahoma.

Mary Fallin, despite good polling numbers, has put herself in a position, where she can’t win. Her numbers are falling, and all of her chief rivals numbers are climbing against her.

Please, Representative Fallin, quit the race for Governor, and go focus on the job at hand, in Washington!

Tulsa 912 Goes to Washington DC

The Fight For Our Country Is ON!
Washington, DC or Bust!

If you were listening to the Glenn Beck Program this morning you heard him call for 1 Million people to converge on Washington, DC this weekend to protest the Health Care Reform Act. The time is NOW to fight for our liberty.

In this bill is included a part on education. If this bill passes you, your children, your childrens’ children, etc will NOT be able to borrow money from a private lender to fund their college education. You will HAVE to go through the government. Is this the America we grew up in? Is this the America we love?

I am taking a stand against this radical transformation of the country I love. I am willing to drive to Washington, DC, and stand with other like minded patriots to let our representatives and fellow Americans know that America is NOT going down without a FIGHT! Will you join me?

If you can’t make the trip, perhaps you could contribute to help cover the cost for travel for those who can make the trip.

This is the final push for Health Care Reform. We MUST take a stand! If you want to take your country back, NOW is the time. Let the roar of the people be our battle cry!
Tentative plan for departure is 8 am, Friday morning 3/19. I need to know how many are interested in going, if you want to drive your vehicle, etc. For us to make it there Saturday morning we will need to switch off driving. Cost should be shared by all. Please respond back if interested.

This is an open invitation to all Homeschoolers to meet Senator and Governor hopeful, Randy Brogdon, as he will be addressing the home educating community of the Tulsa area.

Regardless of where you stand politically, if you homeschool, this information will affect your family!

The discussion will cover legislation that can affect homeschool families, what we can do to ensure our homeschooling rights are protected, and what the politicians are up to concerning this most important issue!
Senator Brogdon will also discuss his plans to protect the future endeavors of homeschooling families!
